With its advanced 16-valve, four-valve-per cylinder, Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) design and large 1.8 Litre displacement, the F75 delivers the ultimate combination of unbridled power and refined performance for the mid-range outboard market. The F75’s lightweight powerhead configuration, refined shaping of the combustion chamber and lean fuel burn technology, means this outboard is extremely fuel efficient, while also delivering an exceptionally smooth and quiet riding experience. This outboard is compatible with Yamaha’s comprehensive range of Command Link gauges and NMEA2000 compliant, meaning you can share engine information with third party multi-function displays, GPS and fish finder systems.

Features

1832cc 16-Valve SOHC Marine Engine

With its increased 1.8 litre capacity and single overhead camshaft, four-valve per cylinder design, the new F90 delivers improved acceleration and power-to-weight performance.

Variable Trolling Control

Yamaha’s variable trolling control allows the skipper to precisely adjust the engine’s idling speed from 550 to 1000 RPM in 50 RPM increments. The ability to finely tune the trolling speed allows fisherman to perfect their lure presentation when chasing different species of fish.

ECM Micro-Computer Control

This outboard is controlled by an advanced microprocessor Engine Control Module (ECM), which receives inputs from six major sensors located throughout the engine. This information is used to ensure the engine runs at peak performance, by delivering the right fuel/air mixture to each combustion chamber.

Alloy White K Series

These props deliver Yamaha's high-quality design and performance in a low-cost, lightweight propeller. They offer a good all-round choice for Yamaha outboards, coming in a wide range of sizes and pitches to suit every power requirement.

High Output Alternator

A 12-Volt 35-Amp high-output alternator ensures that power is always available to start the engine, even after long periods of idling or running at low revs. This not only provides extra starting power, but delivers sufficient power to run the wide array of on-board electronic devices used in modern boating.

Larger 81mm Cylinder Bore

The previous-generation F90 used a 79mm cylinder bore, in the next-generation F90 the cylinder bore size has been increased from 79mm to 81mm which provides more efficient power delivery. A larger valve has been used for increased transfer efficiency for both intake and exhaust.

Offset Crankshaft

The crankshaft design is offset by 5mm from the centre of the cylinder. This innovative design decreases internal friction and promotes a more efficient transfer of power to the crankshaft.

Single Bore Throttle Body

The 60mm wide single bore throttle intake minimises intake resistance and provides first-rate response for brisk-acceleration and high-speed operation.

Single-Ram Power Trim and Tilt Unit

The compact and light-weight single-ram power, trim and tilt (PTT) unit and bracket have been developed exclusively for this engine.

One-Piece Cowling

This engine features a new outer cowling design with an intake air drain system, to easily and efficiently drain away any water that enters the cowling during normal engine operation. Incoming air is routed through a labyrinth of passages that help trap and drain water before it enters the engine’s intake, for maximum reliability.

Command Link - 6Y8 Round Gauge

Using Local Area Network (LAN) technology, these digital round gauges provide accurate and real-time tachometer, speed and fuel management stats, including fuel flow/consumption/economy (up to two tanks), trim level, battery voltage, push button trolling speed adjustments and more.

Yamaha Shift Dampener System

Many of Yamaha's mid-range and high horsepower props come with Yamaha’s exclusive Shift Dampener System (SDS). This system absorbs forces created when an engine shifts in and out of gear, resulting in a quieter, smoother and ‘clunk free’ shifting.

703 Side-Mounted Control

One of Yamaha's best selling controls, this mechanical remote offers comfort, simplicity and flexibility. With its new ergonomic grip, reversible right-hand or left-hand installation, and convenient trim and tilt operation, this control offers all-round functionality and value.

6x3 Concealed Side-Mounted Control

With its stylish chrome finish and ergonomic design, this mechanical control not only looks good, but provides effortless one-hand operation. The trim and tilt switch is comfortably located on the handle and features easily accessible neutral warm-up controls and externally adjustable throttle friction.

704 Premium Single Binnacle Control

This highly-polished, stylish looking, top mounted control allows for effortless one-handed control. The ergonomic design features a thumb operated trim and tilt switch built into the handle, as well as shift and throttle control functions, for convenient and comfortable operation.

704 Premium Twin Binnacle Control

This highly-polished, stylish looking, top mounted control allows for effortless operation of twin mounted outboards. The ergonomic design features a thumb operated trim and tilt switches built into the handles, as well as shift and throttle control functions, for convenient and comfortable operation.

Genuine Yamaha Propellers

Prop choice makes a huge difference to outboard acceleration, top-end speed, handling and fuel efficiency. That is why Yamaha continues to push the technological boundaries in the design and development of our leading range of high performance props - ensuring every Yamaha outboard performs at its peak.

Alloy GP K Series

The newly released aluminium GP introduces a renewed blade geometry and Yamaha’s Shift Dampener System (SDS) for ‘clunk free’ shifting to the K series of props. Suited to lighter hulls, this exceptional prop delivers improved acceleration, speed, fuel economy and anti-ventilation.

Aluminium SDS K Series

These high-quality aluminium props are ideal for heavier hulled boats such as fiberglass and plate aluminium, as well as modified V-type hulls, catamarans, pontoon and commercial work launches. Incorporating Yamaha's Shift Dampener System (SDS), these props deliver quiet and smooth shifting.

Performance Series 3/4 Blade

These specialised stainless steel props can enhance boat performance and improve how they handle particular conditions. The four-blade prop is ideal for rougher conditions and when greater acceleration is required, such as towing. These props are now available with Yamaha’s Shift Dampener System.

Remote Control Security System

Yamaha’s Customer Outboard Protection (Y-COP) engine immobiliser system is easy to use and highly effective in stopping unauthorised start-ups when your boat is unattended. Simply push the button on the simple remote to lock and unlock the engine. Optional accessory for mechanical steering and tiller models.

Multifunction Tiller Handle

With the latest technologies, ergonomic design and features, Yamaha's optional Multi-Function Tiller Handle delivers effortless control, maneuverability and comfort. Trim, shift, throttle, stop switch, variable trolling and integrated overheating and low oil pressure warning alerts are all built into the handle.
