Once again, a great experience at Port Phillip Boating Centre. I had issues with the throttle which turned out to be more complicated than I thought. Gear box issues. Shaun worked the problem and resolved it without any fuss and provided me with updates. Price was also extremely reasonable. Professional and friendly service, nothing less. Decided it was time to repower my tinny with a 40hp Yamaha 4 stroke. Trawled (pardon the pun) the web looking for Yamaha dealers and PPBC had lots of good reviews and was only half an hours drive away so decided to give them a try. From the first email I sent the service was excellent. Everything was explained in detail from the start.

I received phone calls on the progress of the fit up and also some recommendations. On picking the boat up everything was again explained in detail and nothing was too much of an issue for them.

All of the staff were very friendly and you feel like part of the family when dealing with them. Very happy with the new motor fit up and I will definitely be taking the boat back there for servicing.

After numerous attempts (by other dealers) at fixing a demonstrable, and repeatable warranty issue with my 200 Yamaha 4 stroke, I was ready to give up and try to fix it myself. A friend suggested I try Port Phillip Boating Centre so I did.

Right from the first phone call, I could tell they wanted to help, and in the end I drove around the bay to drop the boat off. When I picked it up, they had attended to the (expensive) warranty issue at no cost to me, and serviced the boat. They did an exceptional job, and as long as they continue with this level of service, I will always sing their praises. All I can say is thanks, and if you have an issue with your Yamaha, go there even if it’s a bit of a drive. It’s well worth it.
