Looking for full time work? If you have an interest in boating and fishing and are practical, have a good general knowledge and have an enthusiastic personality then if you can answer yes to these questions then we might have the ideal job for you.
Port Phillip Boating Centre is looking for an energetic and friendly person to join our team.
Your Role will include but not limited to:
- Providing advice on marine products in our Accessory Sales,
- Managing stock including ordering, pricing, checking invoices and restocking shelves within the Accessories area
- Answering phone calls and dealing with general enquiries
- Assisting in maintaining the showroom including displays, promotions and cleanliness
- Advertising on Social Media platforms, and Industry Specific websites
- Other duties as they arise.
The position is for 5 days a week, including Saturdays mornings every 3rd week.
As this position deals directly with customers, you must be able to provide excellent customer service.
- Previous retail experience preferred but not essential.
- Additionally, you should have reasonable computer skills.
- Boating and Fishing knowledge will be a definite advantage.
- Candidates must be physically fit, as there is some lifting involved. Forklift experience helpful but not essential. A driver’s licence is preferable but not essential.
- This position will start early January 2021
Port Phillip Boating Centre is located in Point Cook and are a dealer for Haines Hunter Boats, Yamaha Outboards and Mackay Trailers as well as sales of accessories and servicing all makes of outboards.
